Sip and Paint for the Hoffacker Family

In the summer of 2018 Kyle was again commissioned to lead a sip and paint, although this time it was for a private event. The Hoffacker's asked Kyle to provide a patriotic themed event, culminating in his choice of replicating the American landscape Our Banner in the Sky I by Frederic Edwin Church. Throughout the course of the evening Kyle educated the party on the importance of the American wilderness in nineteenth century painting and many other art historical implications that are evident in the sublime work.

Sip and Paint for St. Paul's Nursing Home; Greenville, PA

Kyle was commissioned in May of 2017 to lead a sip and paint for a community event at St. Paul's Nursing Home in Greenville, PA. For this event, he entertained a group of people varying in age from old to young by walking them through the process of imitating a still life by Frida Kahlo. Kyle views these sorts of events as educational in nature with a strong art historical inclination. He explained basic painting techniques necessary to paint the composition and led a game of trivia on the Mexican painter.

At the end of 2015, Kyle was approached by the Children's Ministry Director of Greenville Christian Missionary Alliance Church (CMA) for a commission of a mural that depicts the earth in God's seven day creation. Kyle worked full-time on this large piece in its creation, finishing it in just a week. It hangs in the basement hallway of CMA church and is used in educating children about the scriptures.

At the end of the school year, he directed a school mural that the children designed and painted on the outside of the school's gated wall, beautifying the space and covering up graffiti.
